FDCS scholarship
College students majoring in vocal music performance or education are encouraged to apply for one of the $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must be undergraduate students who have completed at least one year as a vocal music major by the beginning of the award year and must be attending an Iowa college/university or Community College or be a graduate of the Fort Dodge area attending any college/university. Students must be undergraduates during the award year.
If you are interested in applying for a Fort Dodge Choral Society scholarship, please download the FDCS Scholarship Application on the link to the left. The scholarship process begins in February. Applications are due April 15.
Our program began in the 1998-99 academic year, To date, Fort Dodge Choral Society has awarded 73 scholarships totaling $49,850.
These scholarships are made possible through the generous financial support of friends and members. Contributions to the scholarship fund are always welcome. Fort Dodge Choral Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; all donations are tax deductible.
